Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Software Development Engineer with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.

You will build and enhance backend service logic, validate complex configurations, and collaborate with engineering, product, and partner teams to deliver robust backend capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong backend software engineering experience, ideally in Python-based services or libraries.
• Experience with systems software, infrastructure software, or other technically complex backend platforms.
• Experience designing or integrating APIs across dependent services.
• C++ experience and developing with REST interfaces is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience working with remote teams at a product company.
• 4+ years of Linux development experience.

Job Details

Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $80-$86/hr.
Location: Santa Clara, CA (5 days office)
