We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our innovative team at Jabil, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that support our manufacturing processes and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, hardware engineers, and quality assurance, to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and ongoing support.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with front-end development (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular) and/or back-end development (e.g., RESTful APIs, databases like SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
