Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a Senior Consultant SDET/QA Automation Engineer to join the team in an on-site role in the US. You will define test strategies, build automation frameworks, and ensure end-to-end quality across Web, Mobile, and Desktop platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with 5–6 years of testing in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience in Retail industry and business.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or C#.
• Extensive experience in test automation of complex enterprise apps using Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience in BDD feature files using Specflow or Cucumber.
• Hands-on API and Database testing and automation.
• Experience with AGILE and DevOps processes.
• Good understanding of software architecture and non-functional testing strategies.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Understand the entire system end to end and participate in every stage of SDLC: design, develop, test.
• Define and implement test strategy for complex end-to-end Client solutions.
• Define and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Develop test automation strategy and framework for Web, Mobile, Desktop.
• Implement BDD processes and create/maintain defects with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with solution, hardware, software, network, and QA engineers.
• Work within SAFe methodology to implement/test best practices.

• 8.Responsibilities : Understand the entire system end to end and involve in every step of software development process like designing, development, and testing. Define and implement test strategy for complex end to end systems that comprise the Client solutions. Define and build test scenarios and acceptance tests. Define and develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms like Web, Mobile and Desktop by incorporating industry best practices. Implement Behavior Driven Development processes. Create and manage defects. Apply engineering principals, data analysis best practice and process knowledge to conduct root cause analysis of functional and nonfunctional defects. Provide a detailed root cause analysis for a defect with log evidence to fix the problem and apply the fix. Analyze the issues using software or application monitoring tools. Collaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, network engineers and QA engineers. Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and or refine solution integration and test best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering and 5 to 6 years of experience or knowledge in testing in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with Retail industry and business.
• Solid hands-on experience with JavaScript or C sharp.
• Extensive experience in test automation of complex enterprise applications using PlayWright, Selenium, or CodedUI.
• Hands-on expertise in developing BDD feature files, using Specflow or Cucumber assists.
• Hands-on experience on API and Database testing and automation.
• Experience of working AGILE and DevOps process management methodology.
• Good understanding of software architecture with the ability to provide recommendations and strategy for non functional testing initiatives.
• A real problem solver, ability to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external direction.
• Strong personal accountability and ownership required.
