Job summary

Nanopath in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Software Development Co-op starting in January 2027 to contribute to motor control, driver development, board re-work, test harnesses, and code reviews. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to push our first-in-class diagnostics platform toward real patient impact.

This full-time onsite role requires a 15+ week commitment, is open to undergrad or grad students, and values clear communication, organization, curiosity, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a relevant academic program - we are open to undergraduate and graduate degree opportunities
• Ability to commit to 15+ weeks of full-time and onsite work in Cambridge, MA
• Sophomore or above with demonstrated experience through past internships or research projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized with demonstrated curiosity, scientific rigor and creative problem-solving
• Proactive self-starter with eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Passion for technology translation and willingness to shape Nanopath's future

Nanopath is developing a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform to transform how diseases are diagnosed. We aim to replace lengthy molecular testing workflows by bringing rapid, high-quality diagnostics closer to the patient. This is a full-time onsite role in Cambridge, MA starting in early Jan, lasting no less than 5 months.
