BAE Systems is seeking a Software Developer / Test Engineer with experience in Mobile Forensic Applications. Our engineers design, implement, schedule, test, and deploy full features of mobile application solutions with minimal oversight. You will ensure quality delivery through testing and code reviews, applying technical principles and theories to produce reliable, well-documented products. The role involves working with physical mobile devices, including rooting and interacting with them programmatically.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• At least 4 years of experience in programming or scripting languages, including Python, and possibly C and/or Java.
• Experience across multiple OS platforms: Linux, Mac, Windows, Android, iOS.
• Proficiency in iOS and Android development languages such as Java, Objective-C, or Swift.
• Knowledge of GitHub or Atlassian tools like Bamboo or Bitbucket.
• Experience with UI/UX technologies, especially JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience supporting collaborative software development projects, including use of IDEs and documentation tools.
• Knowledge of database query languages and design.
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience with Python packages following industry-standard design patterns.
• Familiarity with various layers of the technology stack: network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer, familiar with CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD methodologies (desired, not required).

Pay Range

$115,779 - $196,825 annually, based on market data and individual qualifications.
