Job summary

OpenTalent in the United States is seeking a Software Developer to build and maintain test software for semiconductor detectors and production testing. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience in engineering, manufacturing, or lab environments.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ with experience across the full lifecycle.
• Experience with databases, instruments, or hardware systems and source control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test software for detectors, modules, and electronics.
• Create GUIs, APIs, and tools used by engineering and manufacturing staff.
• Support automated test systems in R&D, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop software interfacing with instruments, embedded controllers, and motion systems.
• Integrate test software with MES, production databases, and factory systems.
• Build tools to streamline manufacturing workflows and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process automation and digital manufacturing.
