Ardent Principles, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer (Systems Software) to join the Data Analysis and Technology Services team in the Washington Metro Area.

This full-time onsite role requires an Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain training-focused web solutions, including WBTs and e-learning content, using Joomla, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Software Developer (Systems Software), you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• Working in a training environment.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Using Joomla site design and site administration.
• Developing WBTs, online training courses, websites, or other e-learning solutions.
• Solving complex application development problems.
• Providing advice and recommendations on product design.
• Incorporating considerations into media design plans such as budgets, equipment, performance requirements, or legal issues including accessibility and privacy.
• Designing, building, and maintaining websites.
• Graphic design including animation and 3D animation.
• Creating print products such as posters, books, and presentation materials.
• Using the following authoring and scripting languages: Joomla, CSS, and HTML.
• Using content creation and management tools for web design, web development, programming, graphic design, animation, videography, photography and audio recording, editing and distribution.
• Using JIRA or other IT ticket or work tracking system.
• Working with:
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as well as Dreamweaver, After Effects, or other similar software products.
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • JavaScript (JS).
  • HTML5.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Using Web-based collaboration and document management platforms; task management tools that provide browser-based access for team document libraries, calendars, task lists, alert, and schedules such as SharePoint or other similar software products.
• Working with Sponsor cloud technology networks and systems.
• Creating motion graphic products.
• Working with specialists to build training products.
• General photography.
• Video production or experience in a video production support role.
• Degree(s): Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Online Learning, or other related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification(s): UX/UI Ability Certification from an accredited institution.
