Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI FSP clearance required.
• Proven experience building and maintaining AWS cloud-based applications.
• Experience administering, securing, and scaling AWS resources and related services.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience developing in a DevSecOps environment.
• Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (event-driven microservices, MVC).

Job description

The Sponsor applies technical and consultative resources to accelerate the timely, reliable, and secure delivery of open source data, information and insights. The Sponsor requires a proven and documented track record of support specializing in data workflow, system integration, and software development to build, maintain, and educate users on small applications and data workflows that automate identified manual transactional processes by the Sponsor's non-technical workforce. The work will be performed within an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain resources within the Sponsor's Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
• Ensure all security vulnerabilities are addressed as appropriate by severity and maintain security accreditation
• Maintain all source code in Sponsor-wide, remote Git repository
• Write, test, debug, deploy, and perform timely operations and maintenance (O&M) on custom applications
• Administer database services
• Perform data collection, cleaning, and formatting

Requirements

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining AWS cloud-based applications
• Demonstrated experience administering, securing, and scaling AWS EC2 resources consisting of CentOS or other Linux servers
• Demonstrated experience applying front end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience developing software in a DevSecOps environment
• Demonstrated experience with modern system architecture patterns, such as event-driven microservices and Model-View-Controller architectures
• Demonstrated experience maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines with automated testing and deployment
• Demonstrated experience using Git as a source code repository
• Demonstrated experience developing with React/Next.js or Vue.js, and React-flow (xyflow)
• Demonstrated experience developing with Node.js and D3.js
• Demonstrated experience in developing with and administering ECS, Step Functions, Lambdas, S3, and CloudWatch
• Demonstrated experience in configuring, developing, and maintaining RDS and DynamoDB databases

• Demonstrated experience working Sponsor requirements related to data collection and exploitation workflows
• Demonstrated experience tailoring user assistance specifically to the needs of the user, whether in one-to-one interactions or in larger, multi-user venues.; online and in-person
• Demonstrated experience working in a high-performing team environment
• Demonstrated experience working closely together to collaborate on, deploy to production, and maintain applications for the Sponsor
