Job Description:

Software Developer Sr Advisor - Motion Imagery

At GDIT, a Software Developer Sr. Advisor – Motion Imagery plays a crucial role in delivering successful data outcomes. You will update existing software that manipulates compressed video (e.g., AVC/HEVC) and integrates AI/ML/CV algorithms for enhanced motion imagery analysis. Skills in Web programming, C++, Python, and Rust are desired. Your work will enable clients to turn insights into action and support national defense and intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise systems and applications
• Maintain and update video encoding technology within our development environment
• Support CI/CD pipeline activities for system performance validation
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve system issues to meet customer needs

Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent
• Experience: 7+ years in relevant technical roles
• Technical Skills: Experience with web development, C++, Rust, AI/ML, motion imagery standards, NVIDIA architectures, and Python
• Skills and Abilities: Strong hands-on experience, excellent communication, troubleshooting skills, and ability to multitask

Additional Details:

• Location: Remote
• Work hours: 40 hours/week
• Travel: Less than 10%
• Salary Range: $191,250 - $258,750, based on experience and location
