Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Software Developer in Herndon, VA to design, develop, and integrate software components that meet mission requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and participate in code and design reviews to improve quality and delivery.

The role emphasizes Python development (3+ years), ETL proficiency, SQL skills, and a strong SDLC background, with opportunities to contribute to CI/CD enhancements and data processing

Qualifications

• Recent Python development experience (3+ years).
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Experience in SQL.
• SDLC experience including debugging, testing and deployment.

Title: Software Developer

Location: Herndon, VA

Salary Range: $200-$240K

Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph needed to apply

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and be able to translate the requirements into implementable solutions.
• Design and develop software components which may involve interfacing with other functional teams and areas.
• Coach junior team members on software development best practices, highlighting the impacts of design decisions, and making code efficient.
