Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design.
• Evaluate and review C++ code; programming using C++, Python 3, HTML.
• Develop parallel processes, threading, and process communication.
• Develop web-based applications using appropriate development technology.
• Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements.
• Develop software for an advanced synthetic training environment.
• Support software development, integration, customer training, and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; degrees in related fields with extensive C++ experience may qualify.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SAP clearance.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00 - $180,600.00 per year. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors. Benefits include healthcare, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance, and training assistance.
