Job summary

Full Visibility LLC in Quantico, VA is seeking a Senior Software Developer with an active TS clearance to design, develop, and maintain software applications meeting system requirements onsite in Quantico. You will create block diagrams, logic flowcharts, and engineering documentation to translate designs into functional software.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a BS degree in software-related field, and leadership experience for senior/ SME levels.

Job Description

Full Visibility is seeking a Software Developer - Sr. with a Top Secret clearance to work onsite in Quantico VA.

The Software Developer Sr. will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications to meet system requirements. Creates block diagrams, logic flowcharts, and engineering documentation to translate detailed designs into functional software. Tests, debugs, and refines custom software to improve performance and efficiency. Prepares program-level and user-level documentation.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance This position may require the successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• BS degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8 years of relevant experience
• Current experience as an applications programmer on computer and database management systems.
• Experience analyzing functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities
• Proven experience in designing and developing software and using databases to satisfy design objectives.
• Knowledge of Agile software development techniques such as scrum
• Senior or SME levels must have recent leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience of programming in the .Net programming language on Linux or windows OS is a plus.
• Recent experience of programming for web applications utilizing JavaScript is a plus.
• Recent experience with no SQL database such as MongoDB, is a plus.
• Recent development experience in Java on Linux or windows OS is desirable.

Target Salary Range

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 100-160k
