Job summary

FOX, a leading media company, seeks a skilled Salesforce Developer to design and implement advanced Salesforce solutions, including AI-driven features. You will work across Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and external AI/ML integrations, contributing to scalable, enterprise-grade systems.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with architects and admins, and stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies to drive automation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, plus five years of Salesforce development experience including AI/ML integrations.
• Experience in integrating with external services using modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Certification in Salesforce Platform Developer I or II is required.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties:

1. Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
2. Architect and implement AI-driven solutions using Salesforce AgentForce (Bots, Prediction Builder, Next Best Action) and external AI/ML platforms.
3. Integrate Salesforce with generative AI, NLP, and predictive analytics services to deliver smarter, automated workflows.
4. Lead the full software development lifecycle – from requirements and architecture to development, testing, and CI/CD deployment.
5. Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that aligns with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards.
6. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and collaborating closely with architects, analysts, and administrators.
7. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and performance challenges across multiple Salesforce orgs and integrations.
8. Stay current with Salesforce releases, AI advancements, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation and automation.

Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate Salesforce development or related experience developing and configuring in Salesforce, including experience in Salesforce AI and custom AI/ML integrations

Experience must also include two (2) years of experience integrating with external services and leveraging modern web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following:

1. Experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP);
2. Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, security, and sharing models;
3. Knowledge of Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub, Jenkins or Copado;
4. Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot

*Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $189,051.00-207,956.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
