Software Developer (R&D)
Type: Temp | Onsite in Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $58–$59/hour

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leader in cutting-edge diagnostics solutions, and they’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented developer to support an important R&D initiative at their Rochester location.

What You’ll Do:

• Establishing and managing the software build environment and related tools
• Building and configuring the Windows OS image (Windows XP and/or Windows 10)
• Setting up a Virtual Machine environment, as needed
• Validating operations of current software, OS, off-the-shelf (OTS) software, and cybersecurity tools
• Designing and implementing software changes that support broader R&D goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience building Windows environments and working with OS images (XP and/or Windows 10)
• Strong background in software build tools and processes
• Exposure to cybersecurity in software environments is a plus
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently on complex technical tasks
• Bonus: Experience in medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated industries
