You will drive development of enterprise software systems across a multi-factory environment, working on client software, web applications, databases, and GIS initiatives to keep operations running smoothly. You will need a university degree or equivalent experience, strong coding skills in PHP, Python, and SQL, and solid communication abilities to succeed in a decentralized work setting.

Qualificações

• A university degree, related postgraduate studies, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to develop program code proficiently within PHP, Python, and SQL.
• Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to function effectively in a decentralized work environment.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Strong background and understanding of Database Design principles.
• Experience in modern Web Development practices.
• Knowledge of or experience working with GIS (Geographic Information Systems).

Position Scope:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Developer to join our IT team within a multi-factory, multi-product manufacturing and farming organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the new and continued development of our enterprise software systems.

You will bring to this position the ability and desire to understand our complex food-processing environment, always working with a goal of continuous improvement. As a collaborative team member, you will dive into client software development, web applications, database and GIS initiatives, and provide vital IT support to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new and continued development, maintenance, and modernization of our core enterprise software systems.


• Build, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications and client software tailored to our manufacturing needs.


• Develop, support, and query database systems, and participate in geographic information system (GIS) initiatives.


• Provide related IT support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring software reliability across our decentralized, multi-factory environment.


• Actively learn the nuances of the food-processing and manufacturing environment to design systems that drive efficiency and operational improvements.


• Work alongside a collaborative a team environment, communicating easily and effectively with technical co-workers and non-technical staff alike.
