Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. seeks a Software Developer to build, support, and improve reliable software solutions. This role blends full stack development with production support, troubleshooting incidents, delivering fixes, and enhancing observability using data, automation, and AI-assisted tools to reduce recurring issues.

You will work with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to resolve issues, monitor systems, and contribute to reliable deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years in full stack development or production support.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Backend experience with Java, Node.js, Go, Python, or similar.
• Capable of diagnosing production issues via logs and monitoring.
• Familiar with CI/CD, version control, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for full stack apps and production environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents, meet SLA targets, and document actions taken.
• Investigate production defects, implement fixes, and support deployments.
• Monitor apps, logs, databases, and alerts; drive proactive remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability.
