ASRC Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a qualified candidate with an active Secret security clearance to fill the Software Developer Senior III position to support our customer at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD .
The SEC supports the Army by providing innovative software engineering solutions and readiness-focused services across the globe. As part of this mission, the Software Developer Senior III will design, develop, and maintain complex software applications in support of Army systems and programs.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level software solutions.
Provide advanced technical expertise in software engineering, programming, and integration.
Support requirements analysis, system design, coding, unit testing, integration, and documentation.
Collaborate with Army stakeholders and team members to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and systems.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, C#, Python).
Experience with database technologies, web applications, and integration frameworks.
Understanding of Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
Active DoD Secret clearance required. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Army or DoD programs.
Familiarity with Army software engineering standards and lifecycle processes.
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or DoD milCloud).
Experience with ServiceNow, Palantir Foundry, or other enterprise tools.
