The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, test, and implement code in support of the following:

• Create/Modify Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers as necessary to eliminate redundancy and facilitate information sharing between systems, and tune SQL queries for performance.
• Modify ASP.Net/.Net Core applications to provide better integration and implement a common look-and-feel across the system's functions.
• Unit test code changes.
• Assist with the timely resolution of production issues.
• Support system re-engineering, modernization, and maintenance efforts using Oracle, Ajax, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, .Net Core, C#.
• Adhere to NYSIF's application development standards, including project management methodology, SDLC, Enterprise Architecture standards, and IT governance processes.

Software Developer Responsibilities

The Software Developer is involved with all facets of the software development process, including research, design, programming, testing, and implementation of computer software.

Experience requirements:

• 84+ months in Oracle development, PL/SQL including Triggers, Packages, Procedures, functions, views, SQL Tuning, and data file generation from Oracle.
• 84+ months with Microsoft C#.Net and Object-Oriented Programming for batch processes and web applications.
• 60+ months with Azure DevOps.
• 60+ months with JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Ajax, Bootstrap, and HTML.
• 84+ months with GIT Source Control and TFSVC.
• 48+ months with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• 84+ months developing web-based systems with Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, .Net Core, and MVC.
• 60+ months experience with RESTful APIs.
