Job summary

Independent Health in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Developer to collaborate with IT leads to design, develop, and automate healthcare software solutions. You will translate business needs into technical specs and deliver reliable, scalable applications.

This hybrid role requires strong .NET, SQL, and SDLC knowledge, plus experience with healthcare data standards. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, security, and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of experience designing and developing software.
• Experience with developing .NET web applications, SQL/SSRS/SSIS.
• Experience with healthcare data formats (ANSI X12, HIPAA) preferred.
• Experience supporting business applications.
• Experience with FTP, scripting, encryption and SSH.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server and networks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AWS, SharePoint, Salesforce, Tidal.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Document technical requirements clearly.
• Maintain confidentiality and accountability.
• Alignment with Nova Core 4 values.
