Tri-Valley Career Center is seeking a Software Developer IV to drive the technical roadmap and architecture for cloud applications. The role involves defining software and cybersecurity architecture, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring solutions meet architecture standards and design patterns.
The candidate will translate business needs into technical requirements, guide the development process in an Agile SDLC, and mentor engineers while aligning security with organizational goals.
Development of technical roadmap and architecture/design of cloud applications. Define software and cybersecurity architecture, communicating with stakeholders, and defining the solutions needed to implement business strategies and processes. Understand, communicate, and enforce software architecture and cybersecurity strategy. Define and document software and cybersecurity architecture, design software solutions and govern the implementation ensuring it complies to the architecture standards and design patterns. Translate business needs and product requirements into technical requirements for software applications. Guide the software development process through high-level decision making. Coach and mentor software engineers, programmers, and other team members. Create and maintain design and code standards. Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, developers, and stakeholders. Create architectural designs and plans for software systems, ensuring adherence to best practices, non-functional requirements and SDLC processes in an Agile development environment. Develop and implement cybersecurity architecture to safeguard information and systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Provide guidance and direction to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed. Work closely with other departments, such as IT, operations, and management, to align security and software strategies with organizational goals. Implement innovative ideas with POCs. May allow for partial telecommuting.
