Job summary

TJ Consulting Group is seeking a Software Developer II (mid-level) to design, develop, test, and maintain software components supporting cyberspace capabilities. You will translate requirements into secure, maintainable solutions in a DoD environment at Ft. Meade, MD, onsite.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of experience, proficiency in Java, Python, C, C++, or assembly, and experience with Git. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience supporting software projects through multiple lifecycle phases.
• Experience in secure or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components
• Participate in requirements analysis, estimation, and risk identification
• Develop operational and procedural scripts
• Conduct unit and integration testing
• Apply secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability mitigation
• Support integration with enterprise common services
