Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and deploy software applications across mobile and web platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate clinical and operational workflows into software solutions.
  • Participate in analysis, design, and iterative development processes to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure software meets development standards and supports team strategy and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other developers as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of requirements and system design in documentation management systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve healthcare applications.
  • Support continuous integration, deployment, and testing processes to maintain reliable production software.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with iOS and/or Android mobile development or bioinformatics software development.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Agile development processes, sprints, rapid iterations, and frequent user feedback.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, SQL, FASTAPI, and API integration.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration principles and deployment best practices.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, laboratory medicine, or pathology is preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
