This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Developer II – Pathology Informatics in the United States.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and deploy software applications across mobile and web platforms.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate clinical and operational workflows into software solutions.
- Participate in analysis, design, and iterative development processes to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure software meets development standards and supports team strategy and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of requirements and system design in documentation management systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve healthcare applications.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, and testing processes to maintain reliable production software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with iOS and/or Android mobile development or bioinformatics software development.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Agile development processes, sprints, rapid iterations, and frequent user feedback.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, SQL, FASTAPI, and API integration.
- Familiarity with continuous integration principles and deployment best practices.
- ITIL Foundations Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in healthcare, laboratory medicine, or pathology is preferred.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
