Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) is seeking a talented Software Developer II to design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack web applications that integrate with relational and cloud-based data sources. In this role, you will support mission-critical systems for the NASA Ocean Biology Distributed Active Archive Center (OB.DAAC), which archives, manages, and distributes satellite and in-situ data used for Earth science research, climate studies, and environmental monitoring. You will contribute to applications that support scientific data access, processing, and analysis. The ideal candidate has experience building scalable web applications, developing APIs, working with databases, and deploying applications in cloud environments, with an interest in supporting scientific research and government missions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
