Job summary

TRISTAR INC is seeking a local Software Developer II in Bloomington, IN to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO) for the Azurite Program. The role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining mission software with strong C++ and Python skills, in a Git-driven Linux/Windows environment.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers across disciplines, participate in Agile processes, and contribute to software architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
• Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
• Ability to develop and maintain software using C++, Python and/or JavaScript.
• Ability to work within a Git-based software development workflow.
• Ability to develop and debug software in Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to integrate software across multiple subsystems.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
