Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Software Developer I to join our Baton Rouge, LA team. The role focuses on enterprise‑quality software development with Agile practices and an emphasis on learning and applying new languages and technologies.

Responsibilities include collaborating on user stories, designing algorithms, writing clean unit‑tested code, and supporting web and mobile apps using .NET MAUI and React.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in a related area or experience.
• First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred.
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies and work in Agile projects.
• Experience with AI tools like Gemini and Claude is a plus.
• Familiarity with TDD and automated testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to produce user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist senior developers in designing algorithms and domain models.
• Produce clean, testable code that is maintainable and scalable.
• Debug, upgrade, and refactor existing software across platforms.
• Develop cross‑platform mobile code with .NET MAUI and React apps.
