Job summary

Zekiah Technologies, based in the United States, seeks an enthusiastic Software Developer to grow within a skilled team delivering mission-critical software for DoD programs. The role spans design, development, testing, and documentation across Windows, Unix, and Linux, including work in a SCIF environment.

Responsibilities include architecture, coding, testing, automation, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors to deliver reliable solutions and maintain up-to-date technology stacks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
• 2+ years of software development experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing code samples.
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

This position supports an established contract developing mission-critical operations. Our customer’s framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture

Requirements

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
• 2+ years of software development experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
• Experience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, or NodeJS
• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Secret clearance

Clearance Requirements

This position requires an active Interim Secret clearance. To be considered for this position, an applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
