Position Information

Position Overview

This is an entry level position for a full-stack Software Developer. In this role, you will work alongside experienced software engineers and technical specialists and will be given the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. As a full-stack developer, you will work on all aspects of web-based application development, including the database, web server application, and web browser client.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

• Code, debug, document, deployand maintainsoftware effectively.

• Maintainand modifyexisting applications.

• Fixdefects found in testing.

• Write database queries, scripts, and commands.

• Participatein problem analysis and system design.

• Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to gathercustomer requirements and define functionality.

• Participatein the cost and time estimation process of projects.

• Adhere to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is preferred.

• 1-2 years experience/knowledge with each of the following preferred: web-based applications (HTML, CSS), SQL server, C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core), javascript.

• Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET (Core/Standard) preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, or Visual Studio Code preferred.

• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, SOLID development principles and design patterns required.

• Must have strong logic skills, be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and demonstrate well-developed problem solving skills.

• Must demonstrate excellent time-management, prioritization, attention to detail and organization skills.
