Job summary

NS2 Mission is seeking an Expert Software Developer to join a high-performing team delivering mission-critical software. You will lead technical decisions, design scalable enterprise apps and cloud-native solutions, and mentor junior engineers in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications and web-based solutions.
• Provide engineering and programming support for mission and infrastructure-related projects.
• Lead software design efforts and contribute throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design application architectures, workflows, models, and technical diagrams to support development efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications and web-based software solutions.
• Strong experience with Java application development.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular.
• Experience designing and developing web services and APIs.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and supporting Lean Agile methodologies.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools including Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, DevOps practices, and software quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Linux operating environments.
• Experience translating formal and informal requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Experience working with database connectivity technologies including JDBC, ODBC, or similar database interfaces.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• * Experience developing and implementing microservices architectures, including micro front-end solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions within AWS cloud environments.
• Experience building and supporting automated CI/CD pipelines.

The salary range for this position is $151,323.00 to $205,577.00 . The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
