CF&I Steel, L.P. in Pueblo, CO seeks a Software Developer Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software applications from concept to production.

You will work across the full software lifecycle using C#, C++, .NET, and SQL/Oracle, ensuring robust solutions for process control and data integration. Qualifications include a BS in CS/Software Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, plus hands-on experience with Angular, OPC DA/UA, and Level 2 steel process information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience.
• Experience with Angular framework application development.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET application development.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with OPC DA and OPC UA communication for PLC and DCS integration.
• Experience with Steel Industry Process Information Systems (Level 2 Systems).

Responsabilités

• Develop routines for moderately complex proprietary software from concept to deployment.
• Maintain software applications; test and implement solutions to meet quality standards.
• Translate operational requirements into design and code; resolve internal customer issues.
