Job summary

The Oregon Department of Transportation, Driver Application Services team, seeks a Software Developer to build and maintain secure DMV applications. You will translate business needs into quality software, enhance systems, and support releases with thorough testing and performance tuning.

Hybrid work is available, with in-office time typically once or twice a month. A strong candidate will have .NET/C#, SQL Server proficiency and API development experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of information systems experience in app development or production support.
• Advanced level experience with .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
• Experience building APIs (SOAP/REST) for system integration.

Responsibilities

• Write production quality code for core services, APIs, integrations, and UI components.
• Create tests, raise code coverage, and integrate tests into releases.
• Perform debugging and performance tuning using profilers and metrics.
• Design and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and data mappings.
