Job summary

Referment is working with a global investment and technology business to find a software developer for its Developer Experience team. The role sits at the intersection of productivity engineering and platform development, collaborating with engineers to reduce friction and deliver practical improvements across IDEs, build systems, CI/CD and AI-assisted workflows.

You will work directly with developers to understand needs, build integrations, own build infrastructure, and streamline deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and at least three years in software development, infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills in Linux environments.
• Experience with IDE integrations, CI/CD systems, version control or developer-productivity platforms.
• An understanding of AI technologies and interest in their use within engineering workflows.
• Clear communication and evidence of working directly with users.
