Job summary

Dice is seeking a Software Developer with Semiconductor Equipment experience in Santa Clara, CA for a 100% onsite contract role. The position focuses on QA of Semiconductor Equipment software and supporting CIM automation solutions.

Responsibilities include hands-on development with Visual Studio, C#, .NET, Python, and SQL, along with knowledge of SECS/GEM standards. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and equipment automation is preferred, with strong multi-project management skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in supporting Semiconductor Equipment software and QA for equipment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing fundamentals and CIM automation concepts.
• Experience with MES and Equipment Automation to support end-to-end CIM automation solutions.
• Project management tasks following GIS standard PM lifecycle.
• Knowledge base contribution and management.
• Continuous improvement methods: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and QA Semiconductor Equipment software in a Windows/Unix environment.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and Sr. management to explain technical concepts.
• Support end-to-end CIM automation initiatives and equipment integration.
• Contribute to process improvements and standardization across projects.

Functional and domain knowledge

Hands on experience in supporting Semiconductor Equipment preferably Process Equipment.

QA of Semiconductor Equipment Software

Semiconductor Manufacturing fundamentals domain knowledge.

MES & Equipment Automation understanding to support end to end CIM automation solution.

Project management tasks in accordance with GIS standard PM lifecycle

Knowledge base contribution/management

Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.

Key Skills and Experience

Working proficiency using Visual studio, C#, .Net, Python, databases and use of SQL

Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards

Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing as equipment automation developer is preferred

Project management skills with ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Experience explaining technical and business concepts to Sr. management and managing diverse requirements among multiple stakeholders.

Other Functional Knowledge
