SubCom is seeking a Software Developer/Programmer to design, build, and maintain custom software and database solutions in a manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to deliver robust applications using C# and the .NET Framework, backed by Microsoft SQL Server.

You will follow SDLC policies, participate in design reviews, and create clear technical docs while supporting end users and providing ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science is desired.
• Experience building custom applications using C# and the .NET Framework.
• Knowledge of relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server 2019+.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Experience with design patterns and OO design.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to SDLC policies, procedures, and documentation standards across the development lifecycle.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and peer review processes for quality and maintainability.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure alignment with architecture and security best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs and deployment instructions.
• Meet with process owners to gather requirements for new or modified applications.
• Develop within Visual Studio and SQL Server to create custom apps and reports.
• Provide training for process owners and end users on new applications.
• Provide ongoing support for applications, including after-hours if needed.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to share status, blockers, and priorities.
