About The Role

We are seeking a Developer Lead to join the Platform Services Security Team, reporting to the Development Manager. This role involves designing and implementing new products and features, enhancing existing solutions, and collaborating closely with Developers, Test Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Writers. The team is a high-performing Scrum group focused on delivering performant, scalable, and secure components for Dayforce HCM, enhancing developer productivity, and ensuring robust operational management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot, and support software throughout its full lifecycle
• Deliver new features and enhancements as part of a high-performing Scrum team
• Create and maintain scalable SaaS enterprise applications
• Assess risks and impacts of new functionality on existing systems
• Mentor and share knowledge with other developers
• Collaborate effectively with clients, implementation partners, and internal teams
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable, enterprise-level software solutions
• Deep understanding and application of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Strong experience with both relational (TSQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
• Proven expertise in building authentication solutions including Single Sign-On and Multi-factor Authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC (SAML knowledge is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of OAuth grant types and OIDC flows
• Solid experience with web application security, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and defensive programming techniques
• Proficient in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Advanced skills in CI/CD pipeline automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Docker containers (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Understanding of microservice orchestration and cloud infrastructure deployment automation
• Proficient working with Azure cloud platform and infrastructure management
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Grafana
• Skilled in test automation, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with tools like Cypress and Playwright
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor
