What We Need You to Do

  • Work In-Person 5 Days / week in our Bellevue, WA office.
  • Own end-to-end software development. For example : build satellite imagery marketplace integrations, satellite tasking systems, visualizations for tasking and telemetry, automation of operations, image processing pipelines, and more
  • Integrate Major Tom with additional Ground Station Network providers via APIs.
  • Team Collaboration : Collaborate with the satellite operations team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software
  • Identify and troubleshoot customer-reported issues and implement solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for the software.

Requirements

What We Need You to Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, aerospace, data science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in software development with strong skills in :
  • AWS cloud infrastructure
  • back-end (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Rust)
  • front-end (React) technologies.
  • Experience building scalable applications using microservices architecture or managed Kafka (Confluent Cloud).
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Must be a current U.S. citizen or current lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Advanced Ruby on Rails Experience
  • Experience in Rust would be great but not mandatory
  • Image processing experience
  • Astrodynamics, GNC, or physics experience for satellite simulations

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $120K-$140K

Stock Option Plan

The company offers an equity incentive plan for qualified full-time employees.

Health Care Plan

Employees (and their families) can be covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. The HSA qualified plan is for full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week.

Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)

Full time employees earn PTO at a rate of 1.33 days per month. There are a minimum of 13 paid holidays each year for full-time employees.
