Job summary

LT Consulting, LLC is a technology-focused firm delivering IT solutions for the Intelligence Community. We seek a Backend Web Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to design secure APIs and backend services.

You will work on scalable microservices, data persistence, and automation using cloud-native architectures. The role requires experience with Java/Spring Boot, Node/Express, Python (Flask or Django), and relational databases, plus knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and modern build

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience building backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot, Node/Express, Python/Flask or Django.
• RESTful API design and relational DB integration (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle).
• OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect security standards.
• Build automation tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven, NPM, Pip).
• Git and modern workflows (branching, merging, PRs).
• Experience with Agile environments using JIRA/Confluence.

LT Consulting is seeking a Backend Web Developer with an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to design and build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services supporting mission-focused applications. As a Backend Developer, you'll work across the full scope of backend services, developing scalable microservices, managing data persistence layers, and automating integration processes using cloud-native architectures.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Demonstrated professional experience developing backend systems and APIs
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, Node and Express, Python with Flask or Django, or similar backend stacks
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Experience with build automation tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven, NPM, or Pip)
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)
• Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience implementing observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
• Experience optimizing backend performance and implementing caching (Redis, Memcached)
