Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to join its Fort Liberty, NC team. You will deliver cloud-based software, maintain existing code, and support DevOps practices with CI/CD and security in mind.

Responsibilities include analyzing applications, designing and deploying new tools, and full lifecycle database development, using Azure, Git, and scripting languages.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CS and 3+ years of experience, with US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and work/military experience.
3+ years of related experience.
Strong working knowledge of coding/scripting and ability to read and maintain code written by others.
Experience with Azure cloud offerings and implementing Infrastructure‑as‑Code in Azure (Bicep or ARM templates).
Experience utilizing Git for source control and build pipelines.
Ability to interpret specifications and requirements, troubleshoot, and create software solutions.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and work/military experience.

Required Experience

3+ years of related experience.

Required Technical Skills

Strong working knowledge of coding/scripting and ability to read and maintain code written by others.
Experience with Azure cloud offerings and implementing Infrastructure‑as‑Code in Azure (Bicep or ARM templates).
Experience utilizing Git for source control and build pipelines.
Ability to interpret specifications and requirements, troubleshoot, and create software solutions.
Script in bash, PowerShell, Python or similar languages.
Good working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server and object‑oriented languages such as C# or Java.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and/or Jira is a plus.
Experience in a DevOps environment is preferred.

Preferred Skills
