Job summary

Bartech Staffing in Florida seeks a senior developer responsible for development and integration of applications into our technical infrastructure; provides guidance to teams; analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and maintains reliable systems and web pages.

Responsibilities include leading development and integration, designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, and full-stack apps; mentoring juniors; ensuring security and compliance; collaborating with Business Systems Analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• 6–10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture.
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Java and .NET.

Job description

Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, and/or enhances existing or new systems and web pages that are reliable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and integration efforts for new or existing applications
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, and full-stack applications
• Perform Power BI dashboard development, SQL data structuring, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud development
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutions
• Mentor junior developers and assist in Agile project planning
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices
• Collaborate on an ongoing basis with Business Systems Analysts

Requirements - education & experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. 6-10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, and .NET
• AWS technologies including Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, and Secrets Manager
• Typescript, Node.js, Angular, and NestJS
• Database design and optimization including DDL and indexing
• Docker containerization
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud automation, ERP integration, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture
• Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements including SOX and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and scrum ceremonies

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Certifications in AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, IT Project Management (PMP, Agile, SAFe), or DevOps methodologies
• Experience with SCADA operations, AWS Glue, SNS, and SQS
• JIRA experience for creating stories and tasks
• QMetry or Playwright testing experience
