Bcore seeks a Software Developer-Mid to join our Springfield, VA team. This role focuses on designing and building AI-enabled features, integrating multi-source data, and migrating cloud platforms while applying a modern DevSecOps approach.

You will contribute to ontology-based software and collaborate within an agile scrum team to deliver mission-focused solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development experience, proficient in Python/Java/Scala, and hands-on with Docker,

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field, or 3 additional years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests AI features across several software programs and applications.
• Integrate multiple data streams into customer system.
• Complete Cloud platform migrations between platforms.
• Develop AI features for Ontology-based software applications.
• Work in an agile scrum team and participate in ceremonies.
• Implement requirements from product backlog and write backlog items.
