Job summary

BCore in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Engineer (TS/SCI with Poly) to join a mission-focused team delivering cutting-edge IT solutions and AI-enabled applications. You will contribute to a new application using LLMs to normalize data and access policies for compliance, in a Scrum environment.

You will collaborate with product owners, analysts, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable, secure features, with on-call O&M rotations and a monthly delivery rhythm.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience developing microservice-based Java and Angular applications
• Demonstrated experience developing secure RESTful APIs
• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Utilized Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
• Experience using Amazon Web Services
• Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
• Experience working on a team to define system architectures and the design of new features
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a new application using LLM to convert data and access policies into a uniform format for compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other teams to translate requirements into technical solutions; work in Scrum sprints.
