Overview

As a cyber security professional, you will collaborate with experts to safeguard networks and advance threat protection.

The Work

Responsible for the full stack development of cloud‑based applications and microservices, modernizing legacy systems with a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
• Design, develop and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript frameworks (React), Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern datastores (NoSQL, relational, object).

Desired Skills

• Familiar with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger, AWS managed services; experience with system requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, test frameworks, automation, Agile methodology; familiarity with FOSS & GOTS.
• Cloud experience: one year of full stack development (frontend, API, datastores). Experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12‑factor apps, JSON/BSON serialization, and CI/CD pipelines.

Other Important Information

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph SP.

Work Location: Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off.

Salary range (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC): $150,800 – $265,880 annually.
