**HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER** **WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**

+ Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex new software products, and making significant enhancements to existing software.

+ Integrating design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.

+ Resolving complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.

+ Researching emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution.

+ Providing input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.

+ Troubleshooting complex problems and providing customer support for process specific hardware and application issues.

+ Preparing reports on analyses, findings, and project progress.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**

+ **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

+ **Required Experience:** 3+ years of related software development experience

+ **Required Technical Skills:** CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance)

+ **Security Clearance Level:** Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

+ Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills

+ **Preferred Skills:** Development experience with .Net, C#, SQL, JS, and HTML

+ **Location:** On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
