Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Maintenance Developer to maintain and support a financial system built using .NET 4.8 and Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, application maintenance, and working within an Agile / SCRUM environment. They will also work on complex reporting and database management tasks, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability and performance of the financial system. This is a remote position, with occasional extended hours as required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and support an existing financial system using .NET 4.8 framework and Microsoft technologies.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a maintenance project in a SCRUM / Agile environment.
• Develop and maintain complex reports using Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
• Optimize and maintain code using nHibernate and Entity Framework for Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
• Ensure the scalability and performance of the financial system by developing database solutions using Oracle (PL / SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues within the financial system.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to maintain CI / CD pipelines and automate processes.
• Provide ongoing technical support and resolve performance issues in the maintenance project.

Skills and Qualifications :

• 7 to 10 years of experience in application maintenance and support.
• Proficiency in SCRUM / Agile methodologies and the ability to participate effectively in Agile teams.
• DevOps experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies including .NET 4.8 framework, , C#, and Visual Studio.
• Extensive experience with nHibernate and Entity Framework for ORM.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle database management , including PL / SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Crystal Reports for generating and maintaining complex financial system reports.
• Experience using Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills for working within cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge management.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA , TEMPO , Bitbucket , and Confluence is preferred.

Minimum Requirements :

• 7 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .

• 7 years of experience with DevOps practices , particularly in maintaining CI / CD pipelines and automation.
