Software Developer 2

Location: Austin, TX
Fully Remote
Start Date: 8/1/2025
End Date: 8/31/2026
Submissions due by 6/20/2025

This is a Software Developer 2 position that will work closely with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The person must be proficient in researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Collaborating with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts
• Experience with large IT projects, especially application integrations with SailPoint IIQ and single sign-on with OKTA and Azure
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Minimum Requirements

• 6 years of experience in solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology
• Ability to collaborate on SailPoint Identity IQ deployment plans
• 4 years of experience in SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies, configurations)
• Experience with Okta single sign-on integration
• Developing API services for access policies and requests, integrating with external applications
• 2 years of experience working with Texas State Agencies (preferred)
