Job summary

DENSO is seeking a Software Developer to join the IoT Team to design, develop, and maintain enterprise and manufacturing‑focused software solutions. You will build scalable applications supporting connected systems, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives with .NET/C# and Angular.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications for IoT and smart manufacturing.
  • Develop front-end apps using Angular and web technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript).
  • Build and maintain back-end services and APIs with .NET / C#.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support integration between IoT platforms, enterprise systems, and databases.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security requirements.

Position Summary

DENSO is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join the IoT Team and support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise and manufacturing-focused software solutions. This role will be responsible for building scalable, high-quality applications that support connected systems, operational visibility, process automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Software Developer – IoT Applications

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft development technologies, including the .NET framework/ecosystem, as well as modern front-end development using Angular. This position requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and user‑friendly solutions that align with business and plant operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications that support DENSO IoT and smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Develop front‑end applications using Angular and related web technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Build and maintain back‑end services, APIs, and business logic using .NET / C#.
  • Work with Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, Git, and related Microsoft platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Support integration between IoT platforms, enterprise systems, databases, and manufacturing applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, support documentation, and deployment procedures.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
  • Support software lifecycle activities including enhancements, bug fixes, testing, release management, and production support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for software quality, team processes, and development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core development.
  • Experience developing web applications using Angular.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and related Microsoft development tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
  • Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, debugging, testing, and version control.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting IoT, manufacturing, MES, industrial, or connected device environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud-based application development.
  • Experience with Power BI, data visualization, or operational reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable application design.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, authentication, and secure application development practices.
  • Experience integrating with manufacturing systems, shop floor applications, or enterprise platforms.
