Job summary

KBR's Mission Technology Solutions unit seeks a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain Joomla-based websites and web apps, and to develop engaging Web-Based Training content. You will work with multimedia tools in the Adobe Creative Suite to deliver high-quality e-learning solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with instructional designers, content developers, and stakeholders, ensuring accessible and reliable digital learning products for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a training environment or supporting one.
• Experience developing and maintaining Joomla-based websites and web applications.
• Experience developing Web-Based Training (WBTs), online training courses, websites, or other e-learning solutions.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge, and PDF technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain web and training applications to ensure reliability, usability, and compliance with customer standards.

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM-compliant course development.
• Experience with JavaScript or other modern web development frameworks.
• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements and usability best practices.
• Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly training solutions.

Basic Compensation

$179,700 to $219,600

This range is for the VA area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
