About The Role

As a Senior Software Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications. You will contribute throughout the software development life cycle, from understanding business needs and defining technical approaches through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The role may involve new application development, migrations, and enhancements to existing systems.

You will work with server-side technologies such as Java or .NET and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. In collaboration with user experience (UX) colleagues and other partners, you will help deliver responsive interfaces, reliable APIs, and appropriate data models. You will participate in an Agile development environment and contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and quality practices.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered. Applicants should have at least seven years of software engineering experience and practical experience with technologies such as Java, J2EE, C#, .NET, and JavaScript.

Experience with server-side frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, .NET Core, or .NET is expected, along with knowledge of RESTful services and microservices. Familiarity with React or Angular, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial. Knowledge of test-driven development and automated unit, component, or scenario testing is important. Experience with AWS or OpenShift and familiarity with Agile SDLC practices are also valued.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to timeliness, documentation, and communication. The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, including new projects, migrations, and improvements to existing systems. Build responsive front-end experiences using technologies such as React, Angular, or Node.js in partnership with UX colleagues. Design and implement APIs that support application functionality and integrations with other partners.

Create data models and database structures to support application requirements. Participate in software design meetings, analyze user needs, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop or review test protocols and promote automated testing, including unit, component, and scenario tests. Prepare installation and maintenance documentation, support reliable application operations, and stay informed about web development standards. Provide guidance to less experienced developers when appropriate and perform other related duties as assigned.
