capitaltg is seeking a backend-focused software developer to support US federal agency modernization efforts. You will design, implement, and maintain secure backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs, using MySQL and PostgreSQL, in an agile environment.

Join a mission-driven team and collaborate with DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product groups. You should have 2+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor's in CS or related field; US citizenship with Public Trust eligibility is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on skills with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK.
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs and working with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure and modern secure software delivery practices.
