Job summary

Promise Robotics in the United States is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to cutting-edge software for our robotic manufacturing technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize algorithms and systems addressing real-world construction challenges.

You will need strong Python programming skills, experience with ML techniques, and a collaborative mindset to prototype AI capabilities and integrate tools, helping our growth-stage startup scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering or related technical fields.
• Extensive experience in Python programming.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., RL, CNNs, RNNs, Keras).
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with robotics or AI APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation or AI tool integrations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack software solutions built for robustness, scalability, and performance using state-of-the-art software development practices.
• Design and develop software algorithms.
• Conduct research and experimentation to improve performance of software systems.
• Perform detailed analysis, design, code development, software integration and testing.
• Analyze complex functions, procedures and problems to deliver creative and effective solutions.
• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy agentic AI capabilities, including tool integrations, workflow orchestration, and retrieval-augmented experiences.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI techniques and advanced algorithms.
• Participate in design and code reviews.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor/Graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering or related technical fields

• Extensive experience in Python programming

• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., RL, CNNs, RNNs,Keras)

• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment

• Being a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Organized, focused and persistent with the ability to work to the plan and meet delivery dates

• Being an excellent problem solver and quick learner

• (Preferred) Knowledge of robotics solutions and robotic manipulators

• (Preferred) Experience integrating applications with large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, or agentic frameworks to build intelligent software features.

• (Preferred) Familiarity with modern AI development concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool/function calling, vector databases, or model evaluation.
