Job summary

Suvoda is a global clinical trial technology company seeking a Software Developer II to join the Services Development department in Portland, OR. Qualifications

• Assist with creation of implementation and technical design documentation.
• Develop reliable, maintainable software with emphasis on patient safety and data integrity.
• Manage deployment of Suvoda IRT systems across environments and complete required docs.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for production systems.

Software Developer II

Department: Services Development

Reports to: Senior Services Manager

Suvodais a global clinical trial technology company shaping digital experiences that enable clinical trial sponsor and site professionals to take full command over the inherent logistical complexity behind mission-critical and time-sensitive patient interactions in life-sustaining studies for therapeutic areas such as oncology, central nervous system, and rare disease.

Supporting clinical trials means supporting unique experiments that are inherently complex, high-stakes, and dynamic. It is imperative that Suvoda staff working with clients, end-users, or the systems that client and end-users interact with understand the clinical trial industry, regulations,Suvoda’ssoftware products and processes, and especially the specificities of the unique trial in question before taking any actions they may alter the data of the system in question.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross-functional project team to develop Interactive Response Technology (IRT) for randomization and drug supply management
• Review user requirements specifications, verifying that all requirements can be implemented with theSuvodasoftware in the requiredtimeframe
• Assistwith the creation of implementation design and technical design documentation
• Develop software systems that are reliable, maintainable, and efficient, with emphasis on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data
• Manage the deployment ofSuvodaIRT systems into all environments, completing all required documentation
• Assistthe support team with troubleshooting and resolution of issues reported on production systems
• Participate in the product research and development process by providing the engineering team withnew solutionsand ideas based on project experience
• Generate ideas for innovative technological solutions to increase the quality ofSuvodasystem
• Perform other related duties asrequired

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of experience in IRT or related field preferred
• Prior working experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server
• Familiarity with Web-Services, ModelView Controller (MVC)and Entity Framework (EF) a plus
